Founded in 1896, Shalford FC is the oldest football club in Guildford and the senior section of the Tillingbourne Valley Sports Association, one of the borough's leading adult community football providers. Our vision is to be widely acknowledged as Guildford's leading amateur football club and our mission is to successfully compete for honours at the highest levels of the amateur game by attracting the best local football talent and developing the area's most promising young players for the future. Based at Shalford Park, we enjoy access to some of the best facilities in the area including a fully enclosed ground and a floodlit grass training pitch. We are renowned for our professional set-up and the quality of our match-day operations which are widely regarded as being among the best in Surrey at any level of football. While our 'Caged Tiger' nickname and club crest reflects our fiercely competitive spirit on the field of play, we are fully committed to the principles of fair play and our enduring values of sportsmanship, decency and friendliness to all have remained the hallmarks of the club's character down the years
