Job Description
Cre8 Football is looking for volunteers who have an interest in working with children and young people aged from 4 years old to 13 years old, to aid their football, physical and social development from 8.45am to 10am on Saturdays, in Selhurst. As an Assistant to the Lead Coach you will have the ability to support in football sessions including working with small groups of children and young people. You will also have the chance to input in session planning and organising and preparing equipment. These sessions are for mixed ability children and young people. We operate a ‘turn up and play’ process which means the attendees aren’t always the same each week, however, they very often are.
-As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced, skilled and knowledgeable coaches and staff to gain a better insight into working with children and planning, running and delivering football sessions.
-For volunteers with children/siblings we are able to offer a discounted place for the child to attend our sessions.
-Out of pocket travel expenses are provided as agreed.
-Support to access additional training is available.
-Further opportunities are available(paid & voluntary) with Cre8 Football and or our network of local organisations.
-For those without a DBS, we are able to support the volunteer obtain this.
